As a freelance creator, Dalit has shifted her foucs to dance theater and creating more immersive and intimate pieces. Some of her recent inspirations are Monica Bill Barnes, Bo Burnham, Or Schraber and Florence and the Machine.
Dalit has been a guest choreographer at Motion Arts Dance Studio in Maplewood, NJ from 2017-2024 and her work has been showcased at venues such as the Tank, the Actors Fund, Triskelion Arts, Hudson Guild Theatre, CPR, Dixon Place, Brooklyn Art Haus, the Brick Theatre, Wandering Barman, Lowes theatre in Jersey City, NY Theatre Lab, Riverfront Dance Festival in Connecticut and Stomping ground in LA.
Most recently Dalit presented a new work as part of Queens Dance Festival May 2025 and has assisted Mike Esperanza and Bare Dance Company as product manager for their 20th year anniversary show at LPAC in July 2025.
As a 400hr yoga instructor Dalit uses her dance background to create accessible and exciting classes where we can tune into our bodies with the emphasis of care and listening. Dalit believes in the importance of movement as medicine and has worked with folks from ages 12-96.
Dalit is grateful for the support she recieves from her teachers and friends as she pursues her passions.
